Juneteenth Community Celebration & Lunch: Building Together
The 2025 Juneteenth Community Celebration invites the Stanford Community to the annual gathering to continue this year's Building Together theme through a shared experience of history, food, music, and cultural arts. The event is open to all Stanford affiliates (faculty, staff, students, postdocs, alumni). The event includes the History of African American Quilting Presentation & Exhibit from the African American Quilt Guild of Oakland, the Live Cooking Demo with R&DE Chef Adrian Farmer livestream, and lunch.

History of African American Quilting Presentation & Exhibit from the African American Quilt Guild of Oakland
The African American Quilt Guild of Oakland will present the history of African American Quilting at 11:00 a.m., with an exhibit from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Live Cooking Demo with R&DE Chef Adrian Farmer
Executive Chef Adrian Farmer, with Residential & Dining enterprises, will craft various delectable dishes deeply rooted in the Black culinary tradition. This flavorful menu will showcase the fusion of African and Caribbean influences for everyone to enjoy.
